Arnaud Dezoteux

Mayeur Projects welcomes French video artist Arnaud Dezoteux for a 2 months residency in partnership with Institut français (right : Gaia Gaia, drawings from the video presented in Toulouse Biennial, 2018).
Arnaud Dezoteux (1987) lives and works in Paris. He received his art degree in 2011 from ENSBA, the Fine Arts School in Paris and featured in the honor graduate group exhibition Geographies Nomades with his video G-COACH, a combined improvisation/seduction coaching in a volatile environment similar to American reality TV shows. His projects, which all have in common the use of the green screen as the scene of an atypical confrontation with the actors, were shown at the Loop Art Fair in Barcelona, the Nuit Blanche Video in London, the Musée Làzaro Galdiano in Madrid, the Lafayette Foundation and the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the Astrup Fearnley Museet in Oslo, the 221A gallery in Vancouver. He has received the Paris Young Talents Award in 2012 and the François Sommer Foundation Prize for Hunting and Nature in 2014. Arnaud Dezoteux is nominated for the Science Po Prize for Contemporary Art-2018.
